AgroExpoSiberia is the revival of the traditional and popular industry platform for professionals of crop and livestock production in the center of agricultural Siberia – the Altai Territory!
The organizers of the exhibition, DLG RUS and IFWexpo Heidelberg GmbH, are the subsidiaries of DLG – the leading industry organization of the European agricultural and food sector, as well as the organizer of the world’s largest trade shows AGRITECHNICA and EuroTier in Hanover, Germany.
Based on its rich experience and know-how in the organization of exhibition events in the agricultural sector both in Russia and abroad, DLG RUS and IFWexpo Heidelberg GmbH will contribute to the development and establishment of AgroExpoSiberia as the main meeting point for the professionals of the agro-industrial complex in Siberia.
The exposition will be complemented by an extensive business program. Within the framework of business events of various formats, the most topical issues of the regional industry will be covered, as well as technological seminars on agriculture.
The Altai Territory is a centre of crop and livestock production in Siberia and it is one of the largest agrarian regions in Russia.
The Altai Territory is the leader in terms of crop acreage size in Russia. In 2017 they made up to 5 422,28 k he from overall size of crops acreage of the Russian Federation.
The variety of soil and climatic zones allows to grow wheat, rye, barley, oats, sunflower and other crops in the region.
The Altai Territory is the only region at the Urals, where sugar beet is cultivated. 90% of sunflower seeds are produced in Siberia.
Animal husbandry is also a priority in the structure of the agro-industrial complex of the region. The Altai Territory is the fourth among the Russian regions for cattle, meat and milk production.
